Minister Champika impliedly tells not to vote for cutout and poster Kings

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Fortunately for the Govt. and unfortunately for the country , Minister for environment Champika Ranawaka has realized in his characteristic style a trifle too late that cutouts and posters are causing environmental pollution , and therefore he is requesting the people not to vote for those who are trying to become ‘Kings’ and winners on election posters and cutouts.

Fortunately for him and his Govt. this Minister has realized only now ,this mistake made by the people at the  recently held earlier elections voting for leaders who used every wall , every corner , every Govt. building , every public toilet to put their cutouts and posters displaying their faces and their stylish poses in every angle  and hue..

If this Minister who is so wonderfully concerned about environment and pollution in this country had given due consideration in this direction  some months ago , this country would have become free not only of environmental pollution , but of political pollution too.
