Upulangani Is UNF Organizer For Galgamuwa

Mrs;Upulangani Malagamuwa will contest the forthcoming election representing the UNF.She will represent Galgamuwa electorate in Kurunegala District.

The appointment letter as the chief organizer for Galgamuwa electorate was presented to her by the UNP Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe at 'Sirikothe' yesterday (5th). Secretary General of the UNP Tissa Attanayake and its Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya too were present at the occasion.

Ms. Malagamuwa handed over nominations for the general election of 2010 as a representative of the SLFP (M) wing which is a representative party of the UNF.  She is a former Member of the North-Western Provincial Council and the General Secretary of the SLFP(M) wing. She is the eldest daughter of Ivor Malagamuwa, a distinguished politician from Kurunegala District and chief organizer of the SLFP for Hiriyala electorate.
